COVID-19 - All up coming club events are cancelled or postpone until further notice
We are a family orientated club enjoying green laning, off roading, social events and supporting local and national charities. The aim of the club is to provide safe and practical advice on using your Land Rover whilst having fun. Our members' vehicles range from Series 1 to Defenders, Discovery's, 130, 90, 110, 101 Forward Control, Freelander - if it has a green oval then it is welcome. You don't need to own a Land Rover to be a member - just a fan!!
As a club we have marshalled many events from charity races and rallies to off road sites. Our members also help at local shows and events throughout the Midlands Area.
If you have an event coming up, and need marshalling support please feel free to contact us.
For 2020 our main charity focus is once again with Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
We will also be hoping to continue our support of Convoy for Heroes. If you have an event coming up, be it large or small and need support please feel free to contact us.
For those of you already in the club, and wishing to display your allegiance in a less permanent alternative to a tattoo, have a look at our Club Merchandise list to work out how to improve your wardrobe
Green Laning, put simply, is driving and exploring Legal Byways and Unclassified County Roads. As a club we organise many trips throughout the dry season for club members.
For more information and for the the Greenlane Code of Conduct we follow, please visit this link.
Club members' vehicles range in type, style and age. From the earliest Series 1's through to brand-spanking newbies and everything in-between.
We're a very sociable club with various family friendly socials throughout the year, ranging from BBQs to Bowling, Weekends away to bacon days (for fixing a fellow members vehicle)
If you have a question or problem with anything club related, please feel free to contact the relevant person. The majority of committee members are present at each club meet, but if you need something more urgently, they are mostly contactable by email or through the club Facebook page.
New issue of The Rattler is available for your pleasure.
As always, if you'd like to see something else in The Rattler, do get in touch with the Committee as we're always looking for suggestions.
Feel free to fill in your details if you would like any further information about joining, or have a specific query for the club.
Alternatively feel free to come along to our next club night, held on the first Thursday of every month at the Greyhound Inn, just ask to speak to any committee member.
